Rules

ATCU are presently looking into the structure and content of the present rule book.

The rule book was originally created at the formation of the ATCU in 2005. Since that time the ATCU has developed a new operational structure that is designed not only to be lean but most importantly with the aim of creating a strong attachment at grass root level.

Members have provided comments to the rule book such as it being overcomplicated. There are several anomalies that also need to be corrected or removed such as the political levy and contrary to the TUC, the removal of TUC affiliation.

The ATCU Organisers Committee will be meeting in September to consider the above and we encourage everyone to take part in the future of your union. Branches will be meeting to discuss the item along with previous minutes of the inaugural Organisers Committee meeting of 7/8 June.
